Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on November 18, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her first race, Felix was second in the 200 meters race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she attended at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. In 2007, she won the title in front of her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently within the top three across her diverse events during the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
