Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is one of the well-known British stage and film actress that gained fame after she starred in"Doctor Who" (a British science-fiction TV show) The show aired on BBC channel. Gugu had a massive success on the show, as she played Tish Jones. Tish is the sister of Martha Jones. The audience loved her cheerful enthusiasm and she had no stopping Gugu from a successful career in acting! Gugu has appeared on a variety of British television and stage shows. The critics are raveing about her brilliant performance in the British period drama 'Belle' (2013) as well as the love drama "Beyond the Lights", (2014). Even in American productions, she has appeared on TV series like "Undercover" as well as "Touch" in addition to as Tom Hanks' comedy film, Larry Crowne. Gugu Mbatha Raw was in the show "Nell Gwynn" written by Jessica Swale as an actress and also as the king's mistress. Charles II. Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February, 1975, in Livingston, New Jersey. She was the eldest child from a family of six. Handler lived in a household comprised of six children. Her mother was employed at home while her father was a dealer of used vehicles. Her mother was an German Immigrant, who immigrated to her home in United States in 1958. The cancer of the breast was first discovered in 1989. Handler died 10 years after battling cancer. Handler is a Jew of the Reform movement Her father was Jewish. Handler enjoyed a pleasant and healthy childhood living in a posh community. At the age of 19 Handler relocated to Los Angeles, California to take on a profession in acting. Handler became an actress to assist her. But, at 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy as a full-time profession as she was able to discover her storytelling abilities. At the beginning of her career Handler began her stand-up career as a member of the Oxygen network, which was an all-female cast on the hidden camera/comedy reality television series Girls Behaving badly. This reality TV show ran from 2002 until 2005. The handler then began appearing on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was hired for The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler was given her first major break in the form of hosting her own E! Show in 2006. Named The Chelsea Handler show. The Chelsea Handler show ran for two years. The following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have broadcast her live stand-ups. In 2010, she was tapped as host of the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. It was only the second woman ever to host the VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
